Metro North Court is a 91-unit, low-income project located in the East Harlem section of NYC. The general partner wanted to capitalize on the value of his interest in the property, but recognized the challenge of securing a buyer with sufficient credibility to enhance the odds of earning investor limited partner approval. When an affiliate of TCEF provided the highest value of several bidders, the objectives of both the general partner and limited partners were satisfied — and the transaction closed with investor limited partner, HUD, and lender approval within 60 days.
